The VA San Diego Healthcare System provides a broad range of inpatient and outpatient health care services at the medical center in La Jolla and at the five community clinics. The VA provides medical, surgical, mental health, geriatric, spinal cord injury and advanced rehabilitation services.
VA San Diego Healthcare System has 238 hospital beds and 69 skilled nursing home beds, and operates several regional referral programs including cardiovascular surgery, spinal cord injury and minimally invasive aortic aneurysm procedure.
